Project Magdalene


We are nearing the end of Phase One of our £150,000 project to improve the interior of our church.

You will find a wonderfully level floor of new Ancaster stone, many of the slabs being "sponsored"  by parishioners, villagers and friends of the church.

We have a new "loo" ! Easily accessible and a lot more discreet than the one in the back vestry!

Also we have an amazing new servery, from which we anticipate many delicious morsels being created for future functions.

Still some work to do however......................

We still need to agree on new seating, and raise the funds for Phase Two, which will enclose the side chapel to create a separate meeting room / children's room / prayer room.

What's On.................?


Ride and Stride-Saturday 10th  September 2016

 6-8 mile run or walk raising money for Waltham Church and other local churches.

Harvest Supper -Sunday 18th September 2016

 Enjoy a traditional Harvest Service, an auction of produce followed by a two course harvest supper.

Tickets available for the supper for £8 from Richard 01664 464240 , or ask any other PCC member.

    The Church has very close links with Waltham CofE Primary School, which became a Church of England Voluntary Aided School in 2009. The church is represented on the School's Governing body through Foundation Governors.

    School services are held in church twice each term. Members of the church regulary join in activities at the school.
